GT-R
It isn’t found in a lap time. Or a 0–100 number. Or even on a price tag. It’s built on an obsession to detail. And a radical belief that a real supercar delivers performance in real-world conditions. Anywhere. Anytime. So refined, anyone can drive it. Yet so capable, in the right hands it can turn the automotive world on its ear. The Nissan GT-R. Its history speaks of world-beating performance, but the pursuit will always be of pure exhilaration.

ELEVATE THE EXPERIENCE
|
ANYONE, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE.
Many believe that a supercar should only be driven on a perfect day, on a perfect stretch of road, and only by an expert driver. We have a different vision. That every day should be a supercar day. That you should be able to enjoy exhilaration with comfort and confidence, regardless of your skill level, on any road, regardless of conditions. A radical idea? Perhaps. But we like going our own way.
570 PS 3.8-LITRE, TWIN-TURBO V6At the heart of the GT-R is an ideally sized, twin-turbocharged 3.8-L V6 that produces a prodigious 570 ps and equally immense 637 nm of torque. Hand-assembled by one of only five master craftsmen in the world allowed to create such a masterpiece. But it’s more than just exceptional skill that goes into the process that makes the GT-R so special. As one of the craftsmen says, “We put our souls into each engine, hoping to deliver that excitement to customers.”

HAND-CRAFTED TITANIUM EXHAUSTAnother example of the precision crafting of the GT-R. To ensure the proper cooling from the engine’s massive output, an available titanium exhaust is now offered. Notoriously difficult to work with, each exhaust is hand-built by a master craftsman, and is specifically designed for an individual vehicle. Combined with an exotic sounding exhaust note, it’s music to any enthusiast’s ears.

DESIGN
A SUPERCAR THAT SCULPTS THE WIND
Rather than being designed to the demands of aerodynamics, the GT-R sculpts the air to its needs – becoming a force of nature as much as a force to be reckoned with.
REDESIGNED FRONT ENDLarger grille openings allow more cooling air to key components. Reshaping the front fascia helps direct air around the front wheel wells, reducing drag.
|
SIDE SKIRTS AND C-PILLARRedesigning the GT-R’s side skirts helps prevent air flow from being drawn underneath the vehicle, allowing for more consistent downforce and grip. The area around the C-pillar has been refined to reduce turbulence, and to help accelerate air flow toward the rear of the body.
|
REDESIGNED REAR FASCIAThe rear of the GT-R’s rear fascia has been extended at the sides to accelerate air away from the back of the bumper, helping to pull hot gases away, to cool the exhaust.

FEATURES
TRAVELLING AT THE SPEED OF GT-R
Once again, GT-R rethinks the way the driver receives information. Multiple, easily accessed screens are an innovative way the driver can get immediate feedback to key performance parameters. The result is engaging and informative – providing quick readability combined with the flexibility of multiple customisable displays
WIRED TO PERFORM
Featuring a multitude of technologies that are as expertly crafted as your Nissan GT-R.
AUTO ON/OFF LED HEAD LAMPSAutomatic On/Off LED head lamps respond to light conditions outside, turning on or off when necessary, and leaving you to concentrate on the road ahead.

ZONE BODY CONSTRUCTIONSometimes a collision is unavoidable. But with Nissan’s Zone Body construction, at least it can be safer for everyone on board. This advanced body construction combines impact-absorbing structures with a high-strength cabin, which helps provide protection for you and your passengers.

6 AIR BAGS
Nissan Advanced Air Bag System includes dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor. The inflation rate of these dual-stage air bags adjusts depending on crash severity and seat belt usage.
PERFORMANCE
THE HEART OF THE LEGEND
Nissan challenged convention at every point of the Nissan GT-R’s development. Instead of a large, heavy engine thirsty for fuel, the Nissan GT-R is powered by an ideally sized, twin-turbocharged 3.8-L V6 that produces an even more powerful 570 ps and equally immense 637 nm of torque, the result of individual ignition-timing control of the cylinders and extra boost from the turbochargers. Just as important as the engineering is the actual assembly, which is done by hand by a single master craftsman, whose signature you’ll find on a small, but prominent, plaque.
570-PS VR38 TWIN TURBO ENGINE |
IHI INTEGRATED TURBOCHARGER
|
An engine designed to answer the demands of a supercar for the 21st century, the VR38 is high-performance, while still being fuel-efficient and conscious of the environment.
|
An IHI turbocharger is mounted on each bank of the engine. By combining the exhaust manifold and turbocharger into a single unit, the intake and exhaust gas flow is optimized. A larger intercooler is installed for more efficient cooling. To ensure there is no turbo lag as torque rises, high-precision electronic controls are employed.
